On March 8, 1999 Salesforce was founded in an apartment in San Francisco. It was conceived with three breakthrough ideas: pioneering a new technology model in the cloud, a subscription business model and an integrated philanthropy model. We are grateful to our amazing employees, customers, partners and communities for all that we've accomplished together over the past 20 years.
